Famas F1

Famas F1 - (Fusil d'Assaut de la Manufacture d'Armes de Saint-Étienne, lit. 'Assault rifle from the Saint-Étienne Weapon Factory') Adopted by the French Armed Forces, was made for compactness while offering great firing power. Paired with dual bipods. With a bullpup system in the stock, allowing a shorter weapon without having to sacrifice barrel length. Shooting 5.56x45mm NATO. With their production officially ending in 2000. And eventually be replaced by the HK416F in early 2017.

Wow where to begin. This was the longest project that I have worked on. There were a ton of moments where I just wanted to give up or move on. And there were times where I would gain all the momentum back, sit down and just work. I have learned a lot with this project. Allowing me to feel confident and knowledgeable, knowing the ins and outs of weapon design. Special thanks to Eric Correia, he is a mastermind in his own right and gave me the necessary tools that I need to succeed.
Every project is a step forward, as I need to say goodbye to this one. One Down and more to come with the Famas Family. I poured my soul into this project and I am very happy to show the world what I can do.
